Dr. Andrew L. Bower is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine where he further developed his childhood interest in surgery. He completed his General Surgery residency at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation/ Fairview Health Systems. His specialty involves laparoscopic, endoscopic, and the latest minimally invasive techniues. Dr. Bower takes pride in staying current and providing his patients the highest level and most compassionate surgical care. He has published research on topics such as Hiatal Hernia.Acid Reflux Disease and Bi-Spectral Index Monitoring of IV Conscious Sedation during Endoscopy.
Dr. Bower and his wife Susan, grew up in an agricultural, rural town in Central Ohio. Since high school, they have planned to move to the Pacific Northwest. They have chosen Pendleton as a place to raise their two children and for Dr. Bower to pursue his passion for hunting and the love of the outdoors. The Bowers have always been active supporters in any community they have lived in their nearly 20 years of marriage and Pendleton is no exception! Susan immediately became a Board Member for the Children's Museum and co-coordinated a fund raiser for the Oregon East Symphony. The Bowers enjoy giving back to the community; as well as making investments in it for the benefit of all.
